The 47th Meeting of the Brazilian Econometric Society will take place from December 16 to 19, 2025, at Insper, in São Paulo, SP.

We will maintain the same policy adopted in previous years: only students regularly enrolled in graduate programs in Economics or related fields, with accepted articles, will have their housing expenses covered by the SBE.

This initiative aims to encourage and recognize student effort, offering a valuable opportunity to present their research and interact with other academics and professionals in the field.

Important: Students will be housed in double rooms, shared with one other participant, with check-in on December 16, 2025, and check-out on December 19, 2025.

Furthermore, only article presenters will be entitled to lunch tickets on December 17, 18, and 19, 2025.

SBE will not cover faculty housing expenses. However, we have negotiated special rates at partner hotels located near Insper, offering advantageous conditions for event participants.

To secure discounts of up to 20%, simply indicate at the time of booking that the accommodation is linked to the event held at Insper.

2025 Registration:

Registrations for speakers with accepted papers must be submitted by October 10, 2025, to be included in the meeting program.

  • Undergraduate Students:
    • BRL 85.00 (without accommodation)
  • Graduate Students:
    • BRL 200.00 (without accommodation)
  • Professionals:
    • BRL 500.00

The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Scholarship/Aid Information:

Scholarship for Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Students

The Brazilian Econometric Society will offer a scholarship of BRL 600.00 (six hundred reais) to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students who present approved articles of their own authorship or co-authorship at the 47th SBE Meeting.

The grant will be granted exclusively to students residing outside the São Paulo metropolitan area and who are not currently employed.
